Carnival Sports

Each year, Citipointe Inter-House Carnivals are a highlight for all students.


Early in Term 1 students have the opportunity to earn points for their House by participating at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre at Chandler.  Students who excel in Swimming can move on to compete at the South District Carnival, Regional / Metropolitan East and CSSA Carnivals.

The Citipointe Swimming Squad trains on campus in Term 1 and 4 under the guidance of College Swim coach, Mrs Gayle Dibble for 2 sessions per week.  Please contact Mrs Dibble via for further details.

Cross Country

The Cross Country competition begins with the Secondary House Carnival in Term 1 where students have the opportunity to earn points for their House.   Students who excel in Cross Country move on to the South District competition, with Regional / Metropolitan East and CSSA following.  Students have the opportunity to train with the Citipointe Cross Country team to improve their technique and times.

Cross Country training is held in Term 1 and early Term 2, on and around the Citipointe campus with breakfast provided post training. Training is coordinated by Mr Gary Collins and is held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 7am- 8am. Please contact Mr Gary Collins via for further details.

Track & Field

Citipointe Secondary students enjoy the House Carnival at the end of Term 2 each year.  They have the opportunity to gain House points and have fun along the way.  Students who perform well at the House Carnival earn the opportunity to attend the South District Carnival, Regional / Metropolitan East and the CSSA Carnivals later in the year.

Athletics training is conducted in Term 2 and early Term 3. After school sessions with professional coaches are coordinated by Mr Daniel Wolfik with two sessions per week held in the afternoon and/or CCA time after lunch on Tuesday and Thursday.  Please contact Mr Wolfik via
