Bush Dance 2019

When: 10 August 5:00pm

Where: Citipointe Christian College Brisbane

Saturday 10 August
5pm – 8:30pm

Join this not-to-be-missed whole school event as we dance, eat at one of the fabulous food vans, ride the bucking bull, play games and enjoy the country sounds of Beefa’s Bush Band,

So strap on your boots, wear your best Aussie bush outfit and prepare to have fun!

Tickets

Early bird tickets on sale from Monday 10 June until Monday 5 August.

Family tickets – $20 (early bird) which includes entry for 2 parents / carers (up to 2 adults their children (unlimited)). Family ticket is for entry only. This cost includes the processing fee.

Individual $10 each (includes processing fee).

At the door on the night: Family $25 Individual $10 per adult or child.

Children under the age of 3 years are free.

The College Bush Dance is a cash event. ATM available on the night.

In the event of adverse weather, the Bush Dance will be held in College Hall.

Volunteers

If you can lift, decorate, cook, supervise, handle money or just fill a gap; we need your help.

Volunteers are needed at the entry desk, face painting, BBQ (cooking and food service), decorate the oval, help at the cake stall and supervise games.

This is an excellent opportunity for Secondary students to have fun with their friends and maybe volunteer for an hour.

All volunteers receive FREE entry, and a sausage and drink on the night.

Donations

To help us with prizes for “Lob a Choc” and “Ring Toss” in the games corner of the Bush Dance, Parent Connect is seeking donations of 200 gram blocks of chocolates and 1.25 litre bottles of soft drink.

Primary students can leave donations in a basket in their classroom or  Health Bay. Secondary students can leave their donations at the Secondary Library.

Cake Bake and Sweet Stall

Toffee, fudge, cupcakes…. all mouthwatering goodies.

Donations of homemade goodies are needed for the cake bake and sweet stall. We are looking for baked and non-baked slices, cupcakes, rocky road, brownies and biscuits to name a few. Homemade goods need to include a label with the name of the product, its ingredients and date prepared.  NO NUTS PLEASE. We are a nut free school.

On the night

Parents and carers are required to supervise their children. This is a whole community event and staff supervision of children is not provided.
