Primary School Administration Assistant

Description

This administrative position provides support to the primary leadership team. The position requires advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Suite in all its aspects. An ability to edit documentation paying attention to detail will be required. The applicant should be able to effectively self-manage their time, liaise and communicate clearly both in person and by telephone with leadership, parents and staff. Their level of written communications should also be at a high level. All applicants should be able to demonstrate a Christian commitment in their personal lives.

Requirements include:

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite
  • Written Pastor’s reference from church currently attending

Primary Classroom Teacher Supply

Description

The classroom supply teacher should be able to demonstrate effective and inclusive teaching practices, strong organisation as well as clear oral and written communication with staff and students. This position will require a professional manner, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively as a part of a team as well as individually whilst maintaining flexibility in navigating daily events that might present themselves in the classroom.  Experience using iPads and technology in a primary setting is desirable. All applicants should be able to demonstrate a Christian commitment in their personal lives.

Requirements include:

  • Queensland College of Teachers current registration
  • Written, current Pastor’s reference

Primary Teacher Aide Supply  

Description

This casual supply position provide teacher aide support at various levels within the primary school.  The role is to assist staff by undertaking tasks that support the classroom teacher or students in the delivery of learning. Tasks will vary and may be administrative in nature or may include working directly with small groups of students or individual children.  The applicant should be able to effectively multi-task and self-manage their time, whilst also demonstrating the ability to follow teacher directives. They should possess clear oral and written communication skills and be willing to adapt to new and changing technologies utilised within the primary school. All applicants should be able to demonstrate a Christian commitment in their personal lives.

Requirements include:

  • Suitable certification in Education Support or equivalent experience
  • Written, current Pastor’s reference

IT Technical Support Officer – Level 1/2

Description

The IT Technical Support Officer (TSO) is accountable to the Chief Information Officer under the supervision of the IT Operations Manager and responsible for assisting in the efficient planning, installation, administration, maintenance, and performance of the College computers, printers and audio / visual and specifically the effective running of the IT HelpDesk.

Requirements include:

  • Cert III in IT minimum (Desktop support Windows 10)
  • Written Pastor’s reference from church currently attending

Key Responsibilities

  1. HelpDesk support of teaching and administration staff, students
  2. Remote software imaging of PCs / Macs / iPads
  3. Operation and management of network printers
  4. A/V operation and repair lodgement
  5. Video Editing if required
