  • Practicum Reports or Professional Records
  • Indication of Biblical philosophy of life and practice
  • Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or evidence of eligibility)

Administration

First Aid Officer, Grace House
Citipointe Christian College is inviting applications for the position of First Aid Officer. This is an opportunity to support the wellbeing of our students and join the administration team in Student Reception/Health Bay in Grace House. The role involves providing first aid to students, as required, and completing all associated administration tasks. Experience in first aid and administration is a prerequisite for the role. Qualifications or experience in nursing is not required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent inter-personal skills and enjoy working with children.

This is a part-time position, working five days per week during the school term. Pay and conditions are as per the appropriate Award. If you believe this is the position for you, please complete and lodge an application via the form below including a current Pastoral reference.

Secondary Positions (Semester 2, 2021)

Applications from suitably qualified and experienced educators are invited for the following positions in our Secondary School and are to be submitted to the Principal’s PA, Mrs Lynn Maguire, via LynnM@citipointe.qld.edu.au.

Senior Maths Teacher
This is a full-time [5 day] contract position for Semester 2 2021, teaching across Junior and Senior Maths, commencing on Monday 12 July 2021. This position is responsible to the Head of Secondary, through the Head of Maths and will contribute to supporting the College ethos, to maintaining school tone and discipline, to upholding and implementing College policies and procedures and be involved with parent and student contact where required.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and passionate about student improvement and development and be experienced and qualified in the curriculum area. They need to be strongly committed to Christian education, possess a personal Christian faith and be an active churchgoer. 

 

Senior History Teacher
This is a part-time [approx .5 FTE] contract position for Term 4 2021, teaching across Junior History and Senior Modern History, commencing on Tuesday 5 October 2021. This position is responsible to the Head of Secondary, through the Head of Humanities and will contribute to supporting the College ethos, to maintaining school tone and discipline, to upholding and implementing College policies and procedures and be involved with parent and student contact where required.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and passionate about student improvement and development and be experienced and qualified in the curriculum area. They need to be strongly committed to Christian education, possess a personal Christian faith and be an active churchgoer. 

 

Student Counsellor
This is a full-time [5 day] contract position for Semester 2 2021, working with the Pastoral Care and Wellbeing team in the Secondary school, commencing on Monday 12 July 2021 until 31 December 2021. This position is responsible to the Head of Secondary, through the Student Services Coordinator and will contribute to supporting the College ethos, to maintaining school tone and discipline, to upholding and implementing College policies and procedures and be involved with parent and student contact where required.

The successful applicant will be experienced and qualified in all aspects of counselling of adolescents, be highly motivated and passionate about student wellbeing and be willing and enthusiastic about working with a team of care professionals. They need to be strongly committed to Christian education, possess a personal Christian faith and be an active churchgoer.
