Events for Year 7
Edutest
All new Secondary students starting at Citipointe will need to complete an Edutest. This provides the College with information on the students’ Maths and English abilities, ensuring students are placed in classes suitable for academic success. Usually held during Term 4 or over the school holidays.
Amazing Race
An exciting event coordinated by our Secondary student leaders for all new Year 7 students and all current Year 6 students. Held during Term 4 with more information sent to parents in Term 3. A great opportunity to make new friends and navigate through classrooms and facilities in the Secondary campus.
Orientation
Secondary Orientation Day, held before returning students come back to campus, offers new students the chance to meet staff and get acquainted with the Secondary program and structure. It’s a valuable opportunity for students to familiarise themselves with the campus and meet our supportive and caring staff.
New Parent Information Evening
At the start of the school year, Citipointe hosts a series of information sessions for new parents. The events begin with a welcome morning tea on the first day of school, followed by information evenings held throughout the first school term. These sessions provide details about programs, opportunities, and an opportunity to meet key staff members.
