Citipointe celebrates Foundation Day
Forty-five years ago, on 16 May 1978, Citipointe Christian College was founded with a clear purpose. To provide Christian education for students, so they may know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. To equip them so they may make a difference in the world for good and for God.
In 2023, we celebrate 45 years of Christian education at the Foundation Day Assembly, where students and alumni shared reflections from their time at school.
Year 12 student, Arabelle, reflected on her special memories from Prep to Year 12. She loved the camping program which brought her closer to her friends and to God. Grandparents Days were a special occasion where she could share her learning with loved ones. Encouraged by her teachers, Arabelle has taken steps to create a bright future.
Alumna, Romy, shared that are so many opportunities to discover your gifts and talents at Citipointe. She said Citipointe was a safe place to try something new. It was a place to explore her faith and to build friendships to last a lifetime. Her experience at Citipointe has influenced her career in law, as she has sought Christian mentors in her industry who have helped her succeed.
School leaders expressed gratitude for our faithful founders, for everyone who furthered the College’s vision, and to God for His provision, grace, and blessing.
Our vision
Our vision is for Citipointe to be a truly great Christian school, encouraging its students to achieve their personal best, to contribute to the common good and to human flourishing.
