ATAR Achievements & University Admissions

University pathways summary for Citipointe

Students achieving their goals.

This year we honour the Class of 2023 for their academic achievements with 43% of students receiving an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) above 90, and five students achieving an ATAR over 99.00.

The Class of 2023 has chosen the field of Health (for example, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Psychology) as its preferred pathway because 38.53% of students applied for a university course in this field of study. This is followed by Engineering 12.84%, Management and Commerce 11.93%, Law and Economics 10.09%.

This includes three students gaining entry to the University of Queensland’s highly competitive Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics which requires an adjusted ATAR over 99.00. This reflects the broader increase in Citipointe students receiving offers for highly competitive university courses.

Recent information from universities demonstrates that a Citipointe education provides foundations for successful University study.

University data reveals that Citipointe graduates achieve significantly higher Grade Point Averages in their first year, above to other students. This reflects the great preparation for university studies that our students are receiving.

We acknowledge the work of all staff in preparing students for life. Special thanks to our Student Pathways Team for preparing and assisting students at Citipointe for life beyond Year 12.

Mr Cameron Ivers
Head of Secondary
